Garden Party: Green Studios

Zeina Kronfol and Pamela Haydamous formed Greener-OnTheOtherSide after five years of working together at Green Studios. Their practice focuses on elevating nature and reconciling it with humans via landscape gardening, living surfaces, and art interventions. For Beirut Design Week 2016,  Greener-OnTheOtherSide worked with Milia Maroun to produce a series of kimabayas created with hydroponic skin. Printed with images of flowers and woodland, and stitched with living moss and ferns, the collection, a mobile garden of sorts, crossed boundaries between art, technology, environmental innovation, and fashion.
