Art is the Answer

For Art is the Answer at the Boghossian Foundation’s exhibition of contemporary Lebanese art and design, Milia Maroun collaborated with Spock founder Karim Chaya on a mobile art installation featuring four dresses. The suspended dresses formed a kinetic sculpture, they do not remain static, they are mobile set in motion by the lightest air current. While all the dresses were the same shape, the dimensions of each were dictated by the fabric used – tulle, knit, feather or metal sequins.
